Ingredients
Serves : 4
1/2 cups kabuli chana boiled (along with the salt and turmeric powder)and coated with silver vark
1 tsp salt to taste
4 cups spinach leaves
2 tbsp ghee
1/2 cups onion paste
2 tsp green chillies and ginger
1 tsp garlic paste
1/2 cups tomato paste
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 tsp garam masala
1 tsp dhania powder
Directions
Heat a vesselful of water and blanch the spinach leaves in it for 2-3 minutes.
Drain and blend in a mixer to a smooth paste. Keep aside.
Heat the ghee in a pan, add the onion paste, garlic, Ginger and green chilies paste and saute till they turn golden brown
Add the tomato paste and mix well.
Reduce the flame and cook until the ghee separates.
Add the spinach puree lemon juice, garam masala and coriander powder, salt and stir well.
Garnished with silver vark coated chana and Serve hot with roti.
