Ingredients

Serves : 4
  • 1/2 cups kabuli chana boiled (along with the salt and turmeric powder)and coated with silver vark


  • 1 tsp salt to taste


  • 4 cups spinach leaves


  • 2 tbsp ghee


  • 1/2 cups onion paste


  • 2 tsp green chillies and ginger


  • 1 tsp garlic paste


  • 1/2 cups tomato paste


  • 2 tbsp lemon juice


  • 2 tsp garam masala


  • 1 tsp dhania powder

Directions

  • Heat a vesselful of water and blanch the spinach leaves in it for 2-3 minutes.
  • Drain and blend in a mixer to a smooth paste. Keep aside.
  • Heat the ghee in a pan, add the onion paste, garlic, Ginger and green chilies paste and saute till they turn golden brown
  • Add the tomato paste and mix well.
  • Reduce the flame and cook until the ghee separates.
  • Add the spinach puree lemon juice, garam masala and coriander powder, salt and stir well.
  • Garnished with silver vark coated chana and Serve hot with roti.
